It feels like the entire world is on hold right now. Under the circumstances, it can be easy to start feeling sad about the future, or to feel like life is passing you by.
However, today, instead of feeling hopeless about the present, we want to invite you to join with us and start thinking about joyous times still to come. We’re inviting you on a virtual tour of 500 Pearl (Contact our team about a virtual tour!) and all the gorgeous spaces the complex has to offer.
Get to know what 500 Pearl has to offer, then when this tough period of social distancing has passed, you’ll be ready and excited to celebrate your wedding, your family reunion, your corporate retreat, and more – all within the beautiful, timeless spaces at 500 Pearl.
Forbes Theatre: The Perfect Space to Make a Big Splash
If you’re an extrovert who is currently social distancing, you’re probably itching to throw the biggest, most glamorous, most awe-inspiring party the city of Buffalo has ever known as soon as the world is well and these public health guidelines are lifted.
Does that sound at all familiar? You’re going to want to see the Forbes Theatre.
This amazing, opulent space has enough room to host 280 of your closest friends for dinner, so you can celebrate together. The Art Deco style, the gold embellishments, the nods to the glamour and glitz of the 1920s… it’s amazing.
The Forbes Theater is a perfect venue to celebrate any occasion and adds a level of sophistication and elegance to everything from wedding receptions to fundraising galas to corporate events.
Grand Aeries: Ideal for Thinking Big
Many companies and organizations have been hard hit financially because of the impact of coronavirus/COVID-19. In the future, once we’re back on track and have the country’s economic ship righted, we’ll all be ready to think and dream big for our charitable organizations.
That means Grand Aeries might be the perfect place for you to look if you’re considering a fundraiser or gala event. The ballroom boasts a spacious 4,087 square feet of event space, which can host up to 400 people depending on your event set up.
One of this room’s best features is its magnificent windows, which create interest and flood the room with natural light. For another one of our favorite details, look up, because the glowing chandeliers give this airy ballroom a fun modern twist.
The Fuhrmann Room: Friendly and Flexible
The Fuhrmann Room gets high marks from guests because it’s so flexible and convenient. The space can be adapted to fit the needs of your event and to make sense for the crowd you’re expecting.
The Fuhrmann Room can be divided into three configurations – a 2,868 square foot hall, or two smaller rooms: a 1,570 square foot space or a 1,297 square foot space. Because you have plenty of room and plenty of options regarding the size and type of event you can comfortably host in this space, The Fuhrmann might be the perfect choice for your gathering or celebration.
Some of our favorite events that are hosted in this space include small corporate team events, conferences, family reunions, intimate wedding receptions and Sweet Sixteen parties. However, the beauty of The Fuhrmann Room lies in the fact that its possibilities are limitless and that the choice is completely up to you.
Exchange and 1914: Business Enclaves for Mapping Out Success
If your greatest desire is for the working world to get back to business as usual, you may be considering a strategic gathering with your organization’s key leaders as a way to kickstart growth following social distancing.
Two of our rooms, Exchange and 1914, might be perfect for these meetings. They’re both great places to bring together teams – whether you’re hosting an executive retreat or helping your sales team to pivot and reposition your offerings.
Exchange provides just over 1,000 (1,027 to be exact) square feet of space, which can accommodate up to 75 people in a cocktail setting. 1914 is even larger, offering 1,861 square feet of space.
While these spaces are designed for smaller groups, they’re far from drab or boring, as both rooms feature plenty of natural light and interesting architectural details. Some of our favorite events in these spaces have also included festive celebrations, so you’re not limited to business, even when we return to business as usual.
Just as a side note, when you’re back out and about, you know you’re going to want to celebrate with the people you’ve missed the most. You may want to consider a just-for-fun gathering at Spare Room, where you can relax, bowl, watch sports, and relish how lucky you are to be back in the company of dearly cherished family and friends.
We wish you could be with us now at 500 Pearl, but we also appreciate the efforts you’re taking to keep flattening the curve in our community. Until we can welcome you back and celebrate with you, enjoy a virtual tour and contact us with any questions you have regarding our event spaces.
