Ellicott Development will be bringing a SPot Coffee location to a 5,000-square-foot retailing outparcel it is building in the Village of Kenmore.
The restaurant chain will be opening as part of a renovation at the former George Washington Elementary School.
Ellicott Development is constructing 21 market-rate apartments and some commercial and other retailers to the property, located where Delaware Avenue and Delaware Road intersect. SPot Coffee could open later this summer.
While SPot has a small operation in a nearby Dash’s Market along Colvin Boulevard, the Ellicott Development site will be a full-service location offering its specialized coffees, teas and other drinks along with a trendy menu.
Outside of the Dash’s location, the new site will be SPot’s first in either Kenmore or the Town of Tonawanda.
