Ellicott Development always has projects to keep an eye on. Our company is constantly renovating or constructing something to help improve the Buffalo community. So much excitement surrounds our current projects and we love to keep Buffalonians up to date with all things Ellicott. Here are a few of the projects making headlines and developing daily.
1088 Niagara is coming along quite nicely as construction continues on this thrilling new project in the Niagara Street corridor. Once completed, 1088 Niagara will be a 2 story, mixed use building, totaling 11,000 square feet. Tim Horton’s will be located on the ground floor and includes a drive thru. The ground floor will also have space available for a retail establishment. The second floor will consist of 3 apartment units. These units will exist in 2 and 3 bedroom configurations. This site was formerly considered a brownfield, meaning it was previously used for industrial purposes and the land had been contaminated by with hazardous waste or pollution. However, EDC has cleaned the site up and construction is going well.
Construction at 905 Elmwood is also proceeding! The land that formerly held the Delevan Food Mart at the corner of West Delevan and Elmwood has been cleared and the new 905 Elmwood is being built. Upon completion, a new 4 story building will sit at 905 Elmwood. The building will house a restaurant, commercial retail space, and 21 residential units. The restaurant, created by Local Boys Restaurant group, will be similar to Rocco’s Wood Fired Pizza, a restaurant by one of the members of the Local Boys group. 905 Elmwood will have both indoor and outdoor dining space, as well as a sidewalk patio.
