Bills fans may not be considered the loudest (yet), but Buffalo was recently claimed one of the 15 Best Football Cities by MSN.com. No matter the outcome of the game, how the team is doing this season, or how inclement the weather might be, fans will take any opportunity to cheer on the Bills.
Just four games into the seasons and the team hasn’t quite met expectations set in the preseason with two wins, two losses, and an average of 12 penalties per game. Sunday’s losing game to the Giants was particularly full of penalties with a season high of 17. Penalties, however, are not the only things hurting the team so far. With only four games under our belts, injury has proven to affect a lot of team members. LeSean McCoy has stated he won’t return until he is feeling 100% after worsening an injury he sustained at training camp in August. Injuries also kept Sammy Watkins, John Miller, Aaron Williams, and Marquise Goodwin from playing in this past Sunday’s game.
Though the Bills lost this week’s game 24-10, the previous week’s game against the Miami Dolphins was a 41-14 win for the Bills. Many fans are disappointed by the team’s inconsistency while other, more positive fans are pointing out this season’s potential. All of Buffalo came together to poke fun at the New England Patriots (one player in particular…) the week leading up to the September 20th game, however head coach Rex Ryan and many of the team’s players admitted they might have been too fired up and let emotions get the best of them.
Ellicott Hospitality, the Official Hotel of the Buffalo Bills, loves backing our hometown team and will continue sponsoring the Lucky Row Giveaway throughout the duration of the season, no matter what the outcome of the games is.
