The Fairmont Grand Opening, June 14, 2016
BUFFALO, NY (May 5, 2016) – The historic former Fairmont Creamery Company building located at 199 Scott Street, renovated into one of Buffalo’s hottest business addresses, will hold its formal Grand Opening on June 14, 2016. Beginning with a ribbon cutting ceremony at 5:00 p.m. followed by a happy hour sponsored by Ellicott Development Company, this event will be part of the Second Annual #thisisbuffalo Summer Happy Hour Series.
Bordering the Waterfront and Cobblestone Districts with immediate access to the I190, The Fairmont is ideally located in Downtown Buffalo. Over the years the eight-story structure, originally constructed as a cold storage facility, had also been the business address for iconic Buffalo companies Arctic Freezer Company and Rich Products. Today, the building boasts completion of a $14.6 million renovation completed in cooperation with the New York State Historic Preservation Office which included a new roof, new windows and a wholesale interior makeover while preserving its original charm and character that has adorned the Buffalo skyline since 1920. Modern loft-style build-to-suit office space showcasing exposed brick walls and custom finishes surround commercial tenants including Pegula Sports & Entertainment, VSP Marketing Graphic, Match Marketing Group and Liazon Corporation. Contemporary elements and architectural appointments enhance three floors of upscale apartments; The Mahony Restaurant, location of the #thisisbuffalo Summer Happy Hour, welcomes tenants and guests at the building’s main entry.
Join Ellicott Development Company in celebrating The Fairmont’s Grand Opening and an exclusive ticketed Tour & Tasting at the #thisisbuffalo Summer Happy Hour from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. on June 14th at The Mahony.
