If you are visiting the city of Niagara Falls its quite likely you are there to at least see Niagara Falls itself. And while there are a number of hotels one could stay in, there is nowhere quite like The Giacomo hotel – billed as a luxury boutique hotel and within easy walking distance of Niagara Falls.
The Giacomo Hotel is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and was originally built in 1929 as an office building with art deco architecture. Marilyn Monroe reportedly glided up the marble staircase in the building in one of her movies. The building was renovated in 2010 and turned into a hotel.
