The Buffalo, New York area is an exciting place to live and work. At Ellicott Development, we love our community. That’s why you’ll find us doing everything from working on cool projects to giving away staycations at Buffalo Bills games.
Showcasing Our Exciting New Projects
As a development company, we’re dedicated to making over our local communities. That’s why we’re currently working on nine projects in Buffalo. Here’s a look at what we’re doing so you know what you can look forward to seeing in your neighborhood soon.
At 905 Elmwood Avenue, we’re turning a former gas station that suffered from leaks into a mixed-use space slated to house a restaurant, open second-floor patio and two floors of apartments. This project is planned for completion in spring 2016. We’ve worked hard to clean up and improve this site so that it can be a vibrant, welcoming space. Another site we’re working to clean up is located at 1088 Niagara Street. This property will also be turned into a mixed-used space with a Tim Horton’s Cafe & Bakeshop, retail shops and apartments.
960 Busti Avenue is one of our most exciting projects. This former service building, constructed in 1922, is being converted into a mixed-use space. The finished site will host two floors of commercial sites and nine luxury apartments. We’re also excited about what’s going on at the former Eggert Road Elementary School at 1350 Eggert. We’re converting the space into an apartment building, and each of the 29 units is slated to have a vintage schoolhouse feel.
We have a new development project under way on Ojibwa Circle. We’re calling it the Townhomes at Waterfront Place. The end result will be nine fully customizable townhomes located in Waterfront Village. Residents will enjoy spacious balconies and a view overlooking a private park. 301 Ohio Street is another of our new developments. This five-floor space will house apartments, restaurants and commercial space.
At 1285 Main Street, we’ve revitalized the former home of W.S. Hein Publishing Co. The second floor now houses office space, and the third floor has been converted into 19 market-rate apartments. We’ve also worked hard to convert The Fairmont at 199 Scott Street. The former Fairmont Creamery Company building has been turned into a mixed-use space housing loft-style offices, apartments and restaurant space.
We’re also working on an exciting project in Kenmore at 1 Delaware Road. This is the former home of the George Washington School and is at the heart of the community of Kenmore. We’re renovating the space to include apartments and a daycare center. As with the Eggert Road School project in Buffalo, we’re giving this one a vintage schoolhouse feel. An onsite restaurant will provide the perfect getaway destination for area travelers.
