Ridesharing is officially available in Buffalo! Popular ridesharing services, such as apps like Uber and Lyft, are now available for use in Buffalo as of June 29, 2017.
If you have yet to try out a ridesharing service app, the process is relatively simple and quick. After downloading the app on your mobile device, users are able to select a destination and are immediately given the cost which will not and cannot change at any point during the ride. If the price is to their liking (typically it will be lower than a taxi), users can then “Request Uber” to order their ride. The same process can be applied to Lyft.
Now that ridesharing is available all throughout the Empire State, planning a trip to Buffalo will no longer include issues of transportation. Whether you are flying in and need a ride from the airport, or were worried about calling a taxi to get back to your hotel from a late night adventure, ridesharing will help ensure tourists they are able to maneuver around the city with ease.
