A former hospital turned apartment building will have a new use later this summer: a school. West Buffalo Charter School (WBCS) has finally found a school site in the former Lafayette Hospital at 113 Lafayette Avenue, corner of Barton Street. Allentown will soon have an additional eight residential units when Ellicott Development completes their conversion of the former Allentown Athletix building on Allen, near Delaware Avenue. Mark Croce's purchase and investment in the Statler and Rocco Termini's ongoing work at the Hotel Lafayette are significant in themselves.
