500 Pearl Street

Construction is underway for one of Ellicott Development’s newest project sites: 500 Pearl Street. The project will deliver a new 12-story mixed-use structure complemented by a full renovation of the adjacent existing Buffalo Christian Center. When complete, the development will include a 110-room Aloft Hotel, 12 high-end apartments, 52,000sf of Class A office space and nearly 11,000sf of ground floor retail and restaurant space. The building will provide 5 floors of above-ground structured parking able to accommodate more than 380 vehicles. The new 12-story structure and existing Buffalo Christian Center building will internally connect. The repurposed Buffalo Christian Center will complement the uses in the new structure through use of the pool, fitness center, a large banquet facility and lounge and meeting spaces.

This exciting new development will combine the renovation of a significant historic property with the construction of an edgy, modern high rise. The exterior of the proposed structure will incorporate a range of materials including precast concrete, smooth and perforated metal panel systems and glass. The façade will screen the lower levels of the building to effectively conceal the structured parking within. Open terraces and curtain wall glass will dominate the upper floors dedicated to the office, residential and hotel uses.
